Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Prior to Charter
Qualified for: Full reimbursement minus processing charges
Refund Timeframe: 5-7 working days
Service Fee: €50 for card payments
Requirements: Must be requested via written communication through email or phone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligibility: Half of the total booking cost
Refund Duration: 7-10 business days
Service Charge: €25 deduction from the refund
Stipulations: A valid reason is necessary; administrative fees are applicable
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Refund Eligibility: No reimbursement available
Exceptions: Situations of emergency may be taken into account
Alternative Offer: Voucher for charter services may be proposed at company discretion

Cancellations Due to Weather
Our Commitment to Safe Weather Conditions
Our highest concern is your safety. In case our experienced captain deems the weather conditions to be hazardous for sailing, we provide various accommodations:
- Complete Reimbursement: Issued when rescheduling isn't an option
- Reschedule: We'll find a new date for your booking at no extra cost
- Credit for Charter: A voucher valid for one year from the initial booking date
Procedure for Weather Evaluation
We assess the weather using:
- Analyzing wind direction and speed
- Examining sea state and swell height
- Forecasting visibility and precipitation levels
- Monitoring Coast Guard advisories and alerts
- Captain's professional safety appraisal
Decision Making Timeline: Decisions regarding weather-related cancellations are made at least 4 hours in advance of the planned departure.
Refunds for Medical Emergencies
Situations of Urgency
Emergencies of a medical nature occasionally occur, and we are willing to consider such incidents on a case-by-case basis:
- Sudden medical conditions or injuries that necessitate hospital care
- Passing of a close family member
- Unexpected military obligations or recall
- Mandatory court presence or jury duty
- Disasters of natural origin impacting travel
Essential Supporting Documents
For processing requests based on emergencies, the following documentation is requested:
- A medical statement or documentation from hospitals
- A death confirmation, if relevant
- Official military deployment notices
- A formal jury summons or court order
- Government travel warnings or emergency pronouncements
Review Process: Requests based on emergencies are reviewed and processed within a 3-5 business day period, given the proper paperwork.
Cancellations for Operational Reasons
Technical Complications
In the event that the yacht assigned to you encounters technical problems that remain unresolved:
- Replacement Yacht: We will make an effort to arrange a similar substitute vessel
- Complete Reimbursement: If a suitable replacement isn't available
- Partial Reimbursement: If the alternative vessel has different price points
- Compensation: Supplementary compensation may be considered for the inconvenience caused
Unavailability of Crew
In rare circumstances where the crew scheduled for the charter are not available:
- We will strive to arrange a substitute crew when feasible
- A full refund will be issued if the charter cannot go ahead
- An option to rebook without incurring extra charges
Procedures for Processing Refunds
Mode of Refund
Reimbursements will be reverted to the same method of payment used during booking:
- Cards: 5-7 business days
- Direct Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash or Check: 3-5 business days

€50 charge for cancellations requested with more than 72 hours' notice
Bank Transfer Operations
€25 charge for all bank transfer refunds
Handling for International Transactions
Additional costs may be incurred for refunds involving international transactions
Issuance of Charter Credits
Circumstances for Issuing Credits
In certain scenarios, we may propose a credit for charters as a substitute for a refund:
- Late withdrawal requests (under 24 hours)
- Cancellations tied to weather conditions
- Elective scheduling changes from clients
- Service disruptions
Terms for Credits
- Validity Period: 12 months from the date of issuance
- Transfer Restrictions: Credits cannot be transferred to other individuals
- Credit Value: Equal to the entire value of the initial charter (exempt from processing fees)
- Application: Can be used for any future charters that are available
- Expiration: Credits expire after 12 months and will not be extended
Reimbursement for Partial Services
Disruptions During Service
If your charter experience is interrupted or cut short due to factors we can control:
- Refunds will be prorated based on the unused portion of the service
- Credits equal in value to the interrupted service for future use
- Offer of complimentary services or possible upgrades
Interrupted Services Due to Client Actions
If a charter ends prematurely because of guest misbehavior or safety infringements:
- There will be no refund for the remaining time
- The whole booking cost is still required
- Potential additional charges may be applied
How to Address Disagreements Over Refunds
If you take issue with a decision regarding refunds, the following steps are available to you:

- Supply further evidence or information

We will confirm receiving your refund application within a day, consider it against this policy, inform you of our decision within 48 hours, and implement approved refunds in line with the stated processing intervals.
